How?
Like a good painter, the end result is only as good as the prep work. Here is where a lot of cleaning companies will list a long 21 step cleaning mambo jumbo. Basically all the steps fall into our following 4 categories:

Prevaccum to remove dry particulate soil. 80% of what wears fibers on a carpet is dry soil. Prevaccuming removes that soil. 95% of carpet cleaning companies will not prevaccum.

Pretreat is done with enzyme based detergents to break down binding agents – sugars, proteins, oils and fats that bind soil to carpet fibers.

Agitate Based on fiber and soil load, mechanical agitation is used to evenly distribute cleaning solutions and dislodge all soil from carpet fibers.

Rinse Once all of the prep work has been completed the fibers are flushed using large volumes of hot (240˚) deionized water. Deionized water is so pure it breaks down and absorbs impurities. This hungry water sheers soil off the carpet fibers leaving a cleaner, softer and brighter textile. Absolutely no detergent residue is left behind.

Optional Cleaning:
Carpet Protection acts as a barrier between soil and fiber. Most people are aware of the benefits of protection against liquid spills but are unaware that the greatest benefit of fiber protection is on dry particulate soil. Dry particulate soil is the dusty gritty soil which grinds against carpet fibers resulting in premature abrasion or wear. Carpet protection aids in reducing wear to fibers by coating fibers with a fluropolymer which greatly reduce the ability of soil to bind to the fiber resulting liquid spills wiping off fibers and a much more effective removal of dry soil with every day vacuuming
